What’s in store?

We have blown, stained, and kiln-formed fused glass, including drinking glasses and dichroic glass jewellery.

Browse below for an idea of the unique treasures you could find!

Stained Glass

We currently have two artists working in stained glass. Chris crafts the ever-popular hanging hummingbirds and oyster catchers, while his seagulls and herons feature wire legs mounted in driftwood. Loris creates spirit feathers, in three sizes, which are simply gorgeous hanging in a window.

Fused Glass

Katherine at Strangebird Studio makes a range of fused glass to fit any budget. From $6 magnets to $250 large-scale fused glass mounted on handmade painted wood altars and frames. She has a very unique style of painting glass that has been perfected over 15 years.

Blown Glass

Ted Jolda is a master glass blower and a customer favourite. We are so pleased that he can provide us with his blown glass drinking glasses, ornaments, and vases to share with you.

Dichroic Glass

Peggy Brackett of Kiln Art Glass Studio uses glittery dichroic glass to make necklaces, earrings, and studs. These pieces of jewelry are really of the must-see-in-person variety, as it’s hard to capture just how dynamic they are by camera!

Drinkware

We carry hand-blown drinking and ‘drinking’ glasses, in juice-size and shot-size, with glitter and without. Once again these works of art are crafted by master glass blower Ted Jolda.

Glass Jewelry

In addition to the dichroic glass work shown above, we also stock the work of Errington-based artist Kim Naylor. Kim uses broken pieces of fishing float balls to created very unique, West Coast inspired jewelry.

Ornaments

All of our glass workers make glass ornaments, both of the Christmas-y and non-Christmas-y variety. The pear shown here is another of Ted’s pieces, done in blown glass, from a set that includes a cheeky blown glass coal ornament.
