2 Church Street, Nanaimo BC. That’s in the heart of downtown Nanaimo, and we’re in the Earl Block which is a wonderful heritage building constructed in 1890.
Please check our Contact Us page for current store hours.
Generally yes, we’re open on holidays, but it’s best to check. You can always call the shop at 250.716.8989.
We sell and stock a lot of one-of-a-kind items, and it’s tricky to keep up with what’s available online. That’s why our online store offers a more curated listing of items.
Besides, our brick-and-mortar store is so much more of an experience than the online shop. So come stop by!
Our artisans live and make their crafts exclusively in British Columbia, Canada. The majority of these artisans are Vancouver Island residents.

Yes, we host a handful of artist showings every year. The best way to keep up with what’s going on at Artzi Stuff is to sign up for our (very occasional) newsletter.
You can find the newsletter sign-up at the bottom of this page.
Rarely, because the artists still own their work, not the store. I feel the work is fairly priced, and most artists don’t make much, so reducing the price would mean paying them too little. Occasionally Pachena clothing goes on sale when the seasons change, and we occasionally hold a customer appreciation sale (typically in January or February) in which several artists participate. Sign up for our newsletter and follow Artzi Stuff on social media for sales and event announcements.
Artzi Stuff is pretty much full, although artists are welcome to contact me with your photos and websites just in case you have something I really, really, need and can’t resist. But don’t be hurt if I have to say I am not looking at this time.
It only works if we are a good fit, so it’s best to have a good look at the website and Facebook page albums to see if this is the best place for your work.
I do consignment almost exclusively. Payments for sales are generally written by cheque at month-end, though this varies somewhat.
